Diploma in Indian Philosophy with Sanskrit

Objectives

 This course aims at imparting to the student a general knowledge of the main principles of Indian Philosophy enshrined in the six systems and in the philosophies of the Heterodox Schools, and in the Epics, with an overview of  the philosophical ideas of the Vedas, the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita.  Sanskrit being the basic language of Indian Philosophy, this course will also equip the student with a working knowledge of Sanskrit so as to enable him to have access to the original texts of Indian Philosophy.
