Department of Sanskrit, Indian Philosophy and Hindu Theology

The Department of Sanskrit, Indian Philosophy and Hindu Theology was The School of Indian Studiesset up in 1991 with a view to providing the necessary structure for the organisation of academic and cultural activities in the fields of Sanskrit Studies, Indian Philosophy and Hindu Theology. 

With the expansion of the activities of the MGI, the Department is offering the necessary know-how for the promotion, consolidation and dissemination of the rich cultural, religious and philosophical traditions of India at academic and cultural levels through teaching modules, research, workshops, lectures, seminars and publications.
